poetry ILT task

We are going to start with what is a poem.A poem is a certain amount of words that normally rhyme and has a lot of meaning.People write poetry to express there feelings and to have meaning to there life.

The first task that we did for ILT was to write a picture explaining a poem and that is called imagery.The other thing we did was blackout poetry it is when you get a page out of a book and make a poem out of it using a picture in black fine liner.You had to also write a poem that has meaning for you.You also had to express your feelings in movement and that was the poetry slam.There was different types of poems and we had to choose from those poems and this poem activity was called analyzing poetry.You also had to find the meaning of a certain amount of words and it was called Terminology.


My personal best task was the poetry slam i love showing emotion in movement. My least favorite was the black out poetry i was struggling on how to lay it out. I think that the hardest one was the black out poetry because you had to create a poem using limited words.I felt very confident i new that i was performing in front of my friends.I learned what a  notion was. I learned that i was capable of doing more than i expected to. And that i can work with different people.
